I don't know if the steps are the same on the Verizonicon models as they are on Sprinticon.

First, try doing the same thing that got you into debug mode. That should get you out. Or simply try turning the phone off and back on.

On Sprinticon Samsungs the way to get in/out is Menu-Settings-Display-0-040793 then select service screen/debug. Not sure if that is how it works on the VZW phones though.

According to another posting, the debug code on the Samsung phone is 000000. I tried turning it off...that seemed to do the trick...Thanks!

What I didn't get is with all those codes, what the heck was I supposed to be looking for to determine if my phone is working???

    Hmmm.....

Hopefully someone will chime in with an answer...without seeing what the screen looks like I can't help much!

My Samsung VGA 1000 Debug Screen says the following:

    S04141 SI2 2
    T-63 D102-11
    P148PCH0100
    PR6 RC0 0Z21

    V198T137L:00

I always look at D and the number after it...which in this case is -102 db's, and at my house -105 to -107 is when I lose my Sprinticon PCS signal.

I don't know if that is what it looks like on your A670, but it might be similar.

    Hope this helps.

OMG!! That helps so much!! But now that I got the debug screen off my phone, I don't know if I want to go back into the debug mode again to see what it actually says! LOL

    thanks again!

    Your welcome.

I don't think that the debug menu hurts your phone.

I once left it on for two hours, and nothing bad happened to my phone.

    Okay...so I went back in...this is what it's saying...

    T-63 D0(79 to 83) - (11-15)

So is this good??? I'm trying to learn all of this!!!

My signal is between 3-4 bars...

    Thanks!

Yeah, that sounds good. Seems like your phone is pulling in between -79 and -83 db. Lower numbers are better, meaning the phone is finding a strong signal.
