a530 silent mode?

Is there any way to put the Samsung a530 into silent mode without it vibrating when someone calls? Is it just my phone that's having this problem or is it all of the a530s?

My phone does the same thing I think all of them do so its not just you. There may be a software fix availible to fix this problem though so I would check into it with your Verizon store just to see.

It all depends on how you look at it. I don't look at it as a "problem". I think what would be good is if it gave you an option so some could go into "SILENT MODE" and have it truly be silent, while other could go into "SILENT MODE" and have it vibrate. There are pros and cons to both.

Instead of holding the # key to go to silent mode, you can always turn the ringer down to silent using the down key on the left side of the phone.
