Ok. My cousin has a piece of crap Audiovox 9155. She really wants a new phone but she has 1 1/2 years left on her contract. She looked on ebay and fell in love with the n400. I have heard bad things about this phone but is there anything good about it. Also, I need to know how much the phones would be in the Sprint store if we bought it from them. I saw in another post the Sanyo 8100 is $200 with a $100 rebate. Is this correct? Help, Crazyboy

The N400 is crap, tell your cousin to avoid it at all costs. If your cousin is only 6 months into a contract she will not get any rebates, so the Sanyo 8100 would cost $229. She should consider the Samsung A500. It sells for $150 at Best Buy and the camera "attachment" sells for only $10 in Sprint stores now. If she really wants a camera phone, and you have a Costco near you, try them...they carry the new Samsung A620 for $249.

How is the Samsung signal wise and how do you like it? We dont really live in a strong area for sprint so signal needs to be the strong point. But she really wants phone to download on.

The best phone for reception on Sprint is the Sanyo 4900, those are hard to find now though. My A500 gets as good reception as the Sanyo 8100 does though. Sanyos always show 4 bars of signal too, even when a Samsung has 1 or 2, but they are getting it the same. Sanyo just over emphasizes their signal bars, so keep that in mind.

I have the Samsung N400 and get horrible service in my home area. I'm supposedly in a good area but get no signal outside of my home or inside of my home. I have been doing battle with Sprint for 6 weeks trying to get a different phone or cancel my service. While in their stores I've had other people complain about poor reception this phone as well.
