Help with Samsung A530 GIN Ringtones

Does anyone else out there have the same problem as I do? This is now my 2nd Samsung A530 phone. Everytime I download a custom ringtone from modtones or ringster and set it to a specific person in my phone book, the ring tone automatically changes after a day or 2. Anyone know of this problem or a fix for it? Does anyone know if there has been an update for this phone on this yet? Much help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my 530 I just got it a week ago and Im thinking of returning it because of this. I love the phone its nice and small but the personalized ringtone feature is a MUST for me. Im thinking of calling samsung direct.

Just called Samsung Customer Service. Went through the whole problem stayed on Hold for about 25 minutes then they sent me to a Level 2 Tech and he told me this is a issue with the software and they know about it BUT............
They are working on it and there is nothing he can say right now there is no fix and he cannot guarantee that there will be a fix or if there is one when it will be. He says it has to do with the software and the ringtones that are made for download.
Well I think Im taking it back I have only had it a week ....hate to give it up and go back to my T720 wich I hate, but when I told the tech "I guess I will just return it" He said OK
What more can I say!

this problem is not as bad as the one that I face. I put my phone on silent and if I have a number with a personalized ringtone it rings anyways even though it is on silent this is so annoying I just have to shut my phone off in when I should just be able to have it on vibrate or silent.
