Hi boys and girls, While I have been reading all the Samsung threads and posts for over two days, (and not finished yet,) I just joined this AM and obviously, this is my first post. I have observed that many people take this mobile communications device INTENSELY SERIOUS. Wow! I, on the other hand, strive to take nothing very serious, including life in particular, and myself, spelling, grammar and syntax in general. The only possible exceptions are rock and roll and relationships. (and I'm not too sure on that last one!) Having thrown in that disclaimer... this is my question. Four days ago I received my S105 that I purchased from a gentleman on ebay, and while the phone is older than he stated in his listing, (he forgot that he entered the date on his high scores in the games) it is still within the warranty period, as I understand it. I called the 800 number for Samsung and inquired if I could transfer the remainder of his warranty to me. I was told that I would need to have his original sales receipt. Now, whether or not he still has that, (or would even send it to me) I do not know, for I asked him a question (post sale) and he never responded. I guess, once you have your money.......... Anyway, I need somebody like XcepTion, who appears to be very knowledgeable on Samsung issues to tell me if the info. that the CSR gave me is correct. If so, is there a way around it as there is with most things? My SP is t-mobile. Any responses would be appreciated. The above question will be closely followed by...."to flash, or not to flash" and that, in turn, will be followed by...."when working the shallows for Smallmouth, has anyone had any luck using double stuff oreos?" gracias, RC13 |
