"Great phone! I spent sometime assigning ring types and "faces" to some of my programmed callers in my address book. Does anyone know why when my programmed friends call only their phone number (minus name/special ring tone & cartoon picture) does not show up?

Everyone that calls me is just a phone number......."

saw this question on another website...but curious as to why it doesn't work.

Just got my a530 couple days ago and had the same problem, I had entered a 1, the AC, and the number for entries in my phone book. When someone in my phone book called, the phone only saw their AC and number (not the 1) so it wouldn't match the caller with a phone book entry. Removed all of the 1's and all is well.
