|  What software for A310 data backup?
I got a serial cable for my A310 the other day, but I can't seem to find any software that will allow me to download the phonebook as a backup for when I get the firmware upgrade. (I have over 200 entires, most with multipule numbers, and would like to avoid having to reenter them) The only software I can find is overpriced crap that services any phone under the sun and can control every feature of the phone, which I dont need. Is there a better way? What does everyone else on here do to backup data? Thanks.

humm, I was looking for something free....looks like it would have been cheaper to buy a kit with the cable and software then go the route I did....oh well[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

SamBru is free, but is a Perl script and so not for everyone. It runs under linux and windows but you need to install perl and run it from a DOS prompt. You can download SamBru for the a310 here |

nedry, are you using a serial or usb cable? I cant get the Quicklink to work with a serial cable. Anyone else have this problem?
