The car charger Samsung keeps sending me for my a530 doesn't work. The red light goes on on the charger when plugged into the phone, but there is no indication on the phone itself that it is charging (no red led and no blinking battery icon). Samsung has sent me 2 chargers so far and the same thing keeps happening. Have any of you used a car charger with the a530 yet? Maybe they are sending me the wrong item?? Any thoughts??

I use my a310 charger which actually works perfectly w/ my a530. The right light on the phone comes on (and turns green once fully charged) and the battery indicator in the LCD shows that it's charging.

Thanks. Did Verizon or Samsung tell you to use this charger? I just want to make sure it is not doing any damage to the batteries and that it is the correct one.

I plan on getting the "professional" hands-free car kit (that is available on the Samsung web-site. Has anyone purchased this yet? I have the Samsung N300 and use the professional kit, samsung claims this will not work with the A530 but I wonder?
