Default WAV to MMF Problems

Why is it that whenever I try to convert a wav to mmf I only get the first couple of seconds and then nothing. Even when I irda it to my phone the first few seconds work and then nothing. Any tips?

Default WAV to MMF Problems

You can't convert an entire wav song into a ringtone. Wav to ringtone conversions work best for short sounds (dead ringers) like voice tones or sound effects. For anything longer than that, you'll need to stick with midi.

It might help if you resample your wav to 8bit 8khz mono before converting to mmf.

Default WAV to MMF Problems

How do you resample a wav? I'm guessing it is pretty easy to do, you just need the right program.

Also I searched on this site for "resample" and nothing came up, not even this thread. Is there a delay or something? Also, it seems like other searches I've done have had unpredictible results, what's up with that?

I have been resampling them and I only have a 15 second wav. Is this still too long I guess? It st

15 second of wav? How large is your file. There is a 40kb size limitation to EasyGPRS uploads.
