I am hosting my wap page on my school server, but there is a '~' in the URL. Now how do I input that?

try using: %7E

Example.

www.yourcollege.edu/~you -> http://www.yourcollege.edu/%7Eyou

Ooh, thanks. Too bad when I tried to access the wml page, it returned an error message saying "Not acceptable", while the gif files in the same directory are all viewable.

You school servers aren't configured for WML pages. GIFs show up correctly because they are standard web files but WML is specific to wireless.
