Question Shutter Sound For Samsung a680

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question about the a680. I've read elsewhere that the shuttersound is now mandatory. I find this quite silly due to the fact that in some cases you dont want to disturb others in the area.

I'm just wondering if it's possible to either silent the shutter sound or replace one of the shutter sounds with a silent .wmv file. If this is possible, any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Other than this issue, so far I am very pleased with my new a680. Although I've only had it for a couple days.

By the way, my service provider is Bell Canada.

Thanks in advance.

We've been talking about this since the a670/a680 came out. No...there hasn't been any way that I know of to silence the camera...it's mandatory for a reason...so people cannot be taking pictures of others without their knowledge/consent...it's more of a safety precaution than anything...
