You have to type them in by hand. If you search the old forums I started HUGE thread on 120 ringtones.

I found a ringtone I like and I wrote down the info for it... Now where do I go on my phone to type the ringtone code in? I went to "code" (where I go when I add a new unit card) but the problem is this ringtone starts out with a *3a and I can't get a *to come up on my phone also there is a # in this ringtone......... I have it but now need to figure out how to type in into my phone LOL | |

I hated these things... Usually when you get the "sheet music" for the moto phones, you just press the keys as the "sheet music" indicates, regardless of what pops up on the screen. If it shows a * just push * and dont worry about what appears on the screen. Our company eventually stopped offering tones for the TDMA Moto's because half the customer base couldn't figure it out.

| Actually you press 0 once you get 0, press 0 twice and you get *, press 0 3 times and you get the #. If it shows a * then you want that * to appear on the screen.
