Walmart clips into Ringtones

I am new to this site but I read that you can go to www.Walmart.com and go to their music section, save target as, then go to your service provider's site and text the clip to yourself, then you can open the message in your phone, press go to, then save the clip as a ringtone.... I get all this but what I do not understand is how to get the clip on the body of the text message. I tried pasting the link to the actual clip on the message but when i got to my phone the link would NOT open Alas! I am at a loss... someone type in a forum that you must change the extension of the file from mp3 to midi then paste it in the body of the text message but I cannot figure out how to do this either. Can someone please help me because I already have the clip saved on my computer, and I know how to text myself from my computer to my phone.... I just do not know what to do next.... does someone out there know what to do? If so please help... oh and my phone is a motorola v551 with cingular as the provider if this helps at all... THANKS!

Here is how I do it: I E-Mail the ringtone (as an attachment) to Mynumber@mms.cingular.com.

Sorry I was not clear on that. What happens is that the message comes to your phone as a MMS message(not E Mail)and when you open it it will ask if you want to save the ringtone. You can do pictures the same way also.

I made a mistake in the mms address, the correct one is: xxxxxxxxxx@mms.mycingular.com

LOL...You are welcome, I am glad I made you so happy.

Mine sound quite good but I have a different phone, maybe someone with a V551 can help you with improving the tone quality.
