I don't think the ringtones from that model are compatible with newer model phones.

Compatible - oh boy... it's a sound! It can be modified. It was a polyphonic midi sequence from an mp3 capable phone. It WILL work. one way or another. TRUST me Oh and my mistake... it was the Motorola t731c for USCC but it was a STOCK Motorola ringtone so it was on all the 730 series

If Limelight and Free are on a Razr you should be able to bluetooth transfer the files to your phone unless you don't have bluetooth....

I was thinking it was like the tones on the V60's. They were not compatible with any other phones, and if you wanted extra tones on your phone you had to key them in by hand. I know I don't have tones from that model phone. Maybe someone else has it.

I already tried it, on my chocolate v2 when you select the phone and file transfer it says somthing about starting it on the client phone so i went to see file transfer on the razr but when you highlight the chocolate there is not select option (main enter button) so you cant do anything and then i read somewhere that verizon disabled bluetooth file transfer on the v3 so people wpuld use there pay per use servives

Does anyone have the "Fanfare" alert tone? I saw that there was one posted earlier in this thread but that wasn't the one I was looking for. It used to be on my Motorola E815 a couple of years back. Thanks so much!

Remember, email addresses are not allowed in the public forums. Also, we would like the tones to be added to this thread as attachments so anyone looking for that tone can download it from this thread.

been looking for a long time for this ringtone, and this forum is the closest I've come to finding it.

It's called Expose, was a stock tone on a Motorola V600 (AT&T/Cingular)

I'd really appreciate it if someone could dig it up and post it - you cant beat it as a morning wake-up call!

I'll look later and see if I have it. I always thought Siren was the ultimate wake up tone though. Is that one better?

I have heard 3 different versions, I have one in particular that I like but it's an IMY file. This is the common Motorola "fanfare" ringer. If anyone knows how to convert this- WITHOUT buying more software. Please let me know. Here's the ones I have. It won't let me upload the Fanfare.imy though.. Now someone find me TWIRL....

To upload the IMY file you have to zip it first, then upload it as a Zip file.
