I was using Bitpim 1.0.1 with my LG8300 phone and was able to drop in ringer and sounds just fine with them keeping the original extensions (mp3). With this being the case, dropping in sounds was great because if I did not want them on the ringtone list just yet and being able to save them to my sd card and then just text them to myself to be saved as ringtones later, this worked out quite nicely. But no for some crazy reason when I put the ringtones into my sounds folder and transfer to my phone, they work but they have an unknown file extension so sending them via text message to myself or anyone for that matter no longer works. I have even downloaded Bitpim 1.0.2 test to see if that would make a difference and no go there either. Oh also, all my extensions are showing up in bitpim, just not on the phone. And all mp3 music is showing 0's??? Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? I for one am stumped/ |
