Well, I thought that I had it on my computer, but I do not. The search is not over, give me a little bit of time, let me see what I can come up with.

You can transfer any Moto ringtone as long as it has been loaded as an mp3/wav file. That's how i got my Nextel ringers on my GSM v3i.

I was told to take my time, and I did. I did manage to find the Classic ringtone though. Posted on HoFo by djdownhill, so I can't take credit. EDIT by Jay2TheRescue: I noticed a lot of new members in this thread. Don't forget that we now have the Motorola Stock Ringtone thread to consolidate all of the Motorola stock ringtones. you can find it here: http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/ri...ne-thread.html (The Motorola Stock Ringtone Thread) Last edited by Jay2TheRescue; 04-13-2008 at 12:08 PM. It seems the ringer is only 1 sec long...is there a program out there that adds some silent seconds to the ring (Making it 3-4 seconds total before the next ring?).

Enjoy Update: I uploaded 3 files...each of which is longer or short than between each ring. I personally like the 160 one, it has a 3 sec gap Last edited by stutter55; 11-24-2006 at 12:09 AM. Reason: added more files

Hey guys, I've attached a short audio rip from a series. Does anyone know which RAZR ringtone is this? [The phone in the show is a RAZR] It's a classic ringtone, though none of the above posted ringtones. I'd love it, if anyone could find me a clean version of this ringtone. Thanks in advance! |

That is the famous movie/tvshow plain ringtone. I have always wanted to have it on my phone. Kudos to whoever can find it and post it for us!

You're right. That's just a standard "generic" ringtone that is used in film and TV. The phone probably wasn't even really ringing. The ring was probably added later in the editing. They do this a lot. Many times mistakes are made in this process. I remember on one film I saw there was a red Western Electric model 2500 touch tone phone on the counter in a bar. In the next shot the bartender is dialing 911, yet you hear a rotary dial as if he is dialing a model 500. The phone he was using was clearly shown in other shots in the same scene as being touch tone.

I wish every phone had at least a couple of these classic ringtones which are acceptable at work and in public - instead of loads of 200 bpm electronic sounding junk which makes you embarrassed to have it on anything apart from vibrate!!!

It is a bunch of normal sounding ringtones, message alerts and voicemail alerts found by me after searching the internet. Much like yourself, I needed a regular sounding ringtone, not the junk that comes on the phone. Hope you find something you like.
