Thank you to Heavy Fluid and to stutter55 (for editing the file). I had to replace my V551 and have what was a spare RAZR from someone else in my office. I really missed the Classic ring and found this page via Google.

Does anyone have the "Siren" (I think--it might have been called "Alert") ring from Motorola? I used it for wake-up alarms and it was just a single, repeating tone. Thanks!

I am still looking for the Siren ringtone. I have not been able to find it. Did you check out that 4shared link that I posted? There is a great alarm tone on there, similar to Siren I believe.

If it is the one that comes on almost every single Sony Ericsson phone, yes. I will upload it in the next day or so.

Well, I am having a small problem. When I extract it from my phone, I realise that it is a .midi file, ok, but when I play it on my computer, the whole thing does not play. Let me keep looking.

It is not an old phone sounding ring. It is a ringtone called Sony Ericsson, and I am pretty sure that it comes on almost all SE phones. That is the one you are looking for, correct?

EDIT by Jay2TheRescue:

I noticed a lot of new members in this thread. Don't forget that we now have the Motorola Stock Ringtone thread to consolidate all of the Motorola stock ringtones. you can find it here:

http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/ri...ne-thread.html (The Motorola Stock Ringtone Thread)
Unfortunately, the Motorola Classic tone which I loved on my RAZR long ago is earth shattering loud on my Blackberry Curve even at the lowest volume.

It sucks that you can't get this. I sometimes get sick of having a song/sound effect as my ringtone and actually want my phone to sound like....a phone. Best of luck finding a good alternative.
