hi, im not talking about the ones i record, that topic wa already covered,
i wanna kno how to use a ringtone i downloaded from matrixm.com since
they are around 400kb and vx6000 can only have 30 k ones
it is a wav file, i tried anvil studio to shorten them but it wouldn't work.
can sum1 plz help?

wav files are not going to work they have to be .qcp

There was a post that said that with winamp and a plug-in you can make a wav. file small enough to turn into to a qpc. file . i did it and tried to email it to my self but it didnt work. if anyone wants the qcp. file just let me know

You have 2 options at this point:
1-Use your Voice memo on your phone and record the wav file then try sending it to your self as an Pix attachements. Open it or go to your outbox and reopen your message and save it.....
2-Find the data cable and transfer the qcp file using the BREW.
I've uploaded few good qcp files to my phone with no problems.

Could you please add on to the data cable option... I have the data cable and can upload them just fine but it seems to have some sort of filter that is deleting the file after it is uploaded...Could you please explain how you got them to stay on the phone
