I am getting so freakin mad... On my Motorola V60i, I can't find any ringtones for it, and if I do fine some rintones for it, there is either a 4 or a 0 in it, and there is no possible way to put a 5, 0, or 4 in it...

I dont understand why everyone is having so much trouble putting ringtones into your v60i. Every ringtone from www.mrtones.com has worked fine. http://www.mrtones.com/codice.mt?m=4&s=4970 You just type in the Purple #'s, the gray letters and whats generated. |

Ok... I am so lost... Could you give me like a complete walkthrough or something, before I throw my damned phone. On Mission Impossible, I don't exactly get all the purple, gray numbers, etc.

Read this page is explains how to put in the tones. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rifraf/howto.htm It shows what #'s to type to get each music note. Yes on mrtones.com you just type the purple. Wait a second between groups when typing to make sure they are going in properly. |

I don't understand the gray letters next to the purple numbers on the mrtones website. On my phone (v60i) when i press 0 once, a zero appears. Well on the website it has the purple numbers, and on some of them the last number is 0, which on my phone will come out as a 0 when I press it once, but the gray letters next to them say it should be a q????? I don't understand this shouldnt it be a gray letters have a 0 instead of a q at the end???? I am very confused, someone please help? For example: website keypress says 11330 2Eq (remember i have a v60i motorola phone) on my phone it comes out like this, I press 1,1,3,3,0 which shows .e0 IT DOES NOT MATCH UP TO THE GRAY, CAN SOMONE EXPLAIN WHAT I"M DOING WRONG?!?! |

Well I keep trying it but it does not work? Can you please tell me EXACTLY what you press and how many times and spaces to get this? Do you press 1,1,3,3,0, one after another? The only way I get a 2Eq to come out is if I press 2222 (2 four times), then 33 (3 two times), and then I have NO CLUE as to where the q comes at the end???? Can you help me?

Muxx, If I put this ringtones in my phone it works 221 221 7 3333 00 5 222 3333 7 3333 4 2222 7000 333 # 3333 7 3333 22 3333 744 75 000 333 # 3333 744 75 333 2222 33 2222 4 3333 7 3333 000 2 3333 7 3333 4 3333 7 3333 000 333 2222 733 # 3333 75 000 333 # 3333 75 4 3333 75 000 333 2222 and it comes out to look like this on my phone b1b1r3*5c3r3g2r2#f3r3b3r4r5#f3r4r5f2e2g3r3#a3r3g3r 3#f2r2e3r5#f3r5g3r5#f2 This works for my v60i phone and looks exactly the way it comes out when I press those sequence of numbers. There are NO capital letters or anything like those gray letters next to the purple numbers on the mrtones website. Is this converted or something, why can I put those kind in my phone correctly, but not the ones on the mrtones website? |

Either you are doing something wrong or something is wrong with your phone. Everyone I know who has a v60i uses mrtones.com with no problems.

I have a v60i and i have found that the few ringtones that i have put in sound really slow. The only one i have found so far that sounds awesome is the Godfather Theme Song 1140 1112220 370 30 2220 370 2220 30 2220 11470 270 400 440 40 1112220 370 30 2220 370 2220 30 2220 1140 33370 33300 440 3330 470 220 111300 440 113330 470 220 11122200 440 112220 370 270 470 40 270 470 470 40 40 1220 1122200 I got it from universal-ringtones. they have tons of songs for the v60 |

Mr ringtones doesn't work for the newer V60i's with the new composer. I got the same thing as you. The keypresses are different. There is nothing wrong with your phone. Download the "coding workshop" at http://www.codingworkshop.com/ringtones/index.html then search google for the serial number. I got it on the first website google returned. Then you can go to tons of sites, including this one, and search for rttl files. just type "rttl ringtones" in google, or here too. Find the songs you want. Copy the rttl text by selecting it and pressing copy. Paste it into the converter and press convert. If the song sounds slow then just fiddle with the number at the beginning of the rttl text ie. (this is the Flinstones) Flintstones=4,o=5,b=200:g#,c#,8p,c#6,8a#,g#,c#,8p,g#,8f#,8f,8 f,8f#,8g#,c#,d#,2f,2p,g#,c#,8p,c#6,8a#,g#,c#,8p,g# ,8f#,8f,8f,8f#,8g#,c#,d#,2c# see after "Flinstones" it says d=4, o=5, b=200 ??? (Actually the "d" turns into a stupid smiley face on this forum because it is right beside the semi-colon and the forum thinks it's supposed to be a smiley, but the smiley face is supposed to be a "d") Well if you simply change the 200 to a higher number like 220 or 240 or whatever & the song goes faster. If you lower that number the song goes slower. If you get it to sound right to your ears, then press convert and put it in your phone. If it still sounds slow on your phone, change the number to a higher number and try again. Sometimes I have to make it sound a little fast on my computer for it to sound perfect when I hear it on my phone. BTW, I raised the 200 from 100 and I like the way it sounds, maybe just a little fast. You might like it at 180 or even 100 (Whatever you like) By the way, if you do get the password etc and you LIKE the software, SEND the measly $12.00 to the person who made it. It is well worth it and will make life easy for you. PS. In my opinion only, I think it works alot better than the free converter advertised on this site, not to take anything away from the guy who made that software. His is OK for what it is but the "coding workshop" is pretty damn good & I'm sending my money |
