I cannot get my v3m to work with my computer! Help please!

Ok so all i want to do is get music from my computer onto my phone. I have windows media player and everything...its just when i hook up the phone it says that its a USB composite device and then it pops up with a wizard box saying that it wasnt installed properly because of a fatal error. I have downloaded drivers for it and it still pops up with the same message. Ive also used the patches for it and it still does not work. I need a step by step anwser for this for i am not great with computers. I use windows XP and have the SP2 and im getting very frustrated with my phone so if anyone could help i would really appreciate it. Thanks

You may have to "hack" the RAZR to get it to work. That is what I did. But I have not loaded music to the phone. I have transfered ring tones though, should be the same type of thing.

I am not an expert by any means and I couldn't talk you though it. Go to Mark Venture's web site and read the threads. There is plenty of help there.
