help! RAZR V3C no longer has sound! no mods were done!

help! My verzion Razr V3C phone is giving me problems:
-I have not made any hacks or made any modifications
-when I make a call or receive a call, I can hear the sound but it's sooooo faint, I can't use it to talk to anyone
-the speaker phone works perfectly fine, so I can at least use that
-I have already tried using both the master and clear resets

Any ideas of what I can do?

ugh! it seems like a loose wire! If I open the flip phone such that the speaker/screen part is at a 90 degree angle it works fine! I can kind of get by using my ear piece.

time to get a new phone. Just a couple more weeks till the new iphone comes out.
