Verizon and the V3m seem edit help and themes

Just some info I can add and any help would be great. I have a RAZR V3m with Verizon. I have downloaded p2kseem. It has worked well 4 me. I have changed the LCD, vib and ring, the volume control ect. However what I really wanted to do is use PK commander to add themes to my phone. I downloaded the programs needed and found some themes that I liked. Here is what get's me. I have "fried" 2 phones trying to add themes. Now I was lucky b/c at my local Circuit City I took the phones back and played dumb that it just was not working and now have a third free phone. I have seem edited all that I want and need. I will not try the theme unlock again. I think that Verizon may have added a security feature to block this. Reason i say that is, on my old AT&T RAZR I did the same things and the themes did not fry my phone. Now that phone is a V3. So just my thoughts.
