Razr V3M Problems with Battery (2 Phones, 1 issue)

I have two virtually identical phones (mine and hers). We do not live in an EV area, but a 1X area. However, the EV area is growing and I have recently found that here phone displays the EV where we live once in awhile. Wherease mine does not.

It started about a year ago. Her phone was always dead. It had to be on the charger all the time. (I was using a work phone, so I fugured it was because she was always using hers, she was not). I bought a new battery for her phone about 2 months ago. Not Cheap, about $40.

I Mentioned the high battery consumption to the tech at Verizon, he just said it was due to high use. This is BS since she does not use it often, which I told him, so much for service.

I put the new battery in, then with the phone off, charged it. Once charged, it was dead in a day.

Now, for comparison, my phone is always on, and I use it about as frequently as she does now. Mine will hold up to 3 bars of charge for about 3-4 days, hers will hit 3 days after about 2 hours of charge.

I tried a test the other day, thinking that maybe it is a bad battery. I swapped batteries in the phones. Mine is still fully charged. Hers died within the day.

I looked through the entire phone system and saw only a few differences:

Any Thoughts on this?

Javan, have you check roaming settings on her handset? you may also want to check display settings to see if that's not set too long of a time.

You may also want to have the phone flashed with the latest software upgrades by your carrier to see if that makes a difference.
