Problem using Messaging Menu

I've done a search and so far it hasn't turned anything specific to my problem. So here's a description and I'm hoping someone has an answer for me.

Phone: Motorola v3m
Provider: Verizon

I've also got a 2gb microSD card in it.

I got MPT and got the phone connected correctly. I had a bit of fun getting MMS to show up but finally got that resolved. Had to go into the settings part and have it identify as a v3mm and then it showed up for me. I cropped an mp3 file down and tried to send it to the phone but it wouldn't work. So I decided I needed to read more before getting too involved.

Now I notice that I have a problem. Whenver I go to the "Message" menu and select 1. New Message and then 1. New TXT message (or pic or video for that fact) it drops me back to the Message menu.

So I tried going to the "Settings" menu under the "Message" menu and changing the settings. I can select different options but when I press the circle button to do "OK" it doesn't do anything. It's like the button isn't working on the keypad. I tested it under other menus (like to set a ringtone for example) and it works just fine. Just seems to be limited to the messaging portion for some reason.

Any ideas?

No worries on posting for this thread any longer. Took my phone to Verizon today and they replaced it for me. Got a new phone now so all is working again.

If a moderator wants to close / delete / lock this thread that's okay...
