Voice records

I have a V3m through Alltel. When I record a voice record it seems that I can't do anything with it but listen to it. Is there a way to save it so that it can be sent or moved form the phone to pc? I had recorded our 6mnth old laughing and wanted ot send it to my wife but I couldn't do a thing with it.

I think there is a mod that can be done to the phone so you can apply voicenotes as a ringtone, but that's it. It was not designed to be sent or anything like that. The primary purpose was a note so you didn't have to write something down.
