Pictures, driving me nuts

Hi folks. I just got my new Razor v3m from Verizon. I downloaded Motorola phone tools and it updated itself. It finds my razor just fine, and I saved my contacts into the program. All well and good, but folks, the biggest thing to me after saving contacts is getting pictires I take on the phone over to the PC. I see no where in phone tools to do this. Not a single word about getting pics over to the PC. My god, please don't tell me there is no way to get pics from this phone over to the PC using my usb cable.

Any help would be appreciated. I just want to take pics on my phone and move them to the pc to edit and view them. This phone cost a hundred bucks, and still no improvement in this area over my old LG phone. I know I can send a pic message to the PC but that cost and i have messaging blocked at verizon. Phone bill is already 185 dollars a month for the family plan. I am forking out a ton of money and can't even send pics from my phone to me computer.

Verizon does their best to block any media moving to or from the phone unless it travels through a channel where they can charge you for it, like multimedia messaging. There used to be a hack to make MPT work for file transfers on a Verizon V3, but I think that was closed up with the latest versions of Verizon's firmware.

So I am forking out almost 200 per month and they won't even let me transefr pics to the pc without paying extra?
That's insane
Are there no other programs or options?

Check the CDMA razr forum. I have AT&T, and no experience hacking the CDMA models.

I had the same problem/question, caller Verizon, and they said the only was to do it was to send it to the gallery (at 25 cents each) and then download onto my PC. Not being one to believe there isn't another way, I researched the web. There is another way, and here it is: Purchase a mini SD (I got 2 a gig card at newegg.com) for the phone. Install it per instructions, and use the phone to format it. Then turn on your camera, select options, and then # 10 (switch storage device), and selct the SD card. Keep in mind that any wallpaper or pics you want to appear when someone calls must be stored on the phone and not on the SD card. At this point, every pic you take will be stored on the SD card. Whenever you want, simply remove the battery, then the card, and using the micro SD adapter that comes with the SD mini card, slide it into the card reader on your PC. There you have it....pics done easy.
