VZW Razr v3m f/w 24.1_01.19.07 Free Wap Help?

Hi guys, I've been reading here for a while and normally find the answers, but I'm having some difficulty finding info on this new 24.1_01.19.07 f/w concerning the Free WAP. I've got the ringtones down using p2kc - thanks! I'd be very happy with this phone if it just did the WAP now.

The obvious problem is that when doing #0SETUP* there is no Web Sessions. No seem edit known as of yet to unlock it (I've read that this f/w is dual-seemed so the previous edit is useless). I'm interested if anyone has used PST to overwrite the Browser file. I loaded and read it from the phone, but I'm a bit skiddish to overwrite files until I'm certain it won't brick my phone. Looks like it should work though, has anyone tried? I have my own HoTTProxy, so I'm set, I'd just like to verify if it works before I do it.

there is a seem edit to unlock the web sessions option in the #0SETUP* menu.

i tested it, and it works.

seem 2742 record 1, bytes 0000, offset 0018 bit 5 enables the web session menu in the 24.1 01.19.07 FW.

you should also know that if your plan was changed or made recently, you will be charged $1.99/MB of data sent or received, even if you use a free proxy.

i have one question for you: you said "I've got the ringtones down using p2kc - thanks!" does this mean you figured out how to get ringtones on the 24.1 FW? that is something i really want to do with my v3m, and if you could point me in the direction of a how-to, or tell me how to do it yourself that would be great.

Why is it alot of people want something for nothing. Sorry but this really rubs me the wrong way pay for what you use or don't use it at all. This is stealing.

He asked a question and I gave him the answer, I don't see the problem there. Also, I can't even do the free WAP hack anyway, so I'm not "stealing". In fact, I can't even access the internet on my RAZR through Verizon Mobile Web, let alone a free WAP proxy.
I was just trying to help this guy out, as he was clearly frustrated with the new 01.19.07 Verizon firmware, as am I.

P.S. Please ignore my question about getting ringtones on my v3m, i found a tutorial that explained it all:

(I know the guide says it is for the KRZR K1m, but the 01.19.07 v3m FW is identical to the K1m FW, so this works for both.)
