Question Verizon V3c: Even Possible to Connect to PC?

Hi all,

I've been reading through the forum--searching for posts on my question--and I have found a lot of great info here. But my dilemma is I don't even own the Razr phone I'm looking at yet, so I don't know any of the terminology used in these posts. I'm hoping somebody can help a total newbie to Razr figure this out:

I would like to own a Razr. I have Verizon. I understand it would be a Verizon V3c. (Is this the same as V3m?)

I have an LG phone I have been using BitPim to put ringtones and wallpapers on, and download photos taken on the phone.

I do not want to even buy a Razr v3c if I cannot connect it to my computer to do things like put on ringtones and wallpapers and get photos off.

Since I don't have the phone I'm a little lost reading threads about drivers, Motorola tools, and "Seem" edits (don't know what that is yet). So can somebody tell me if it's even possible to get the Verizon Vc3 connected to the phone for *more than just contacts and calendar*, but to do my own ringtones and wallpapers off my computer (not Get It Now or whatever), etc.?

I hate Verizon, but they are pretty much the only game in town. I'd rather stay with my old LG if the v3c is not able to handle this kind of activity.

I have Windows Vista if that makes a difference...I know I will have to buy a cable for the v3c, but again. BitPim works great on Vista with the LG, which is also a Verizon model.

Thanks in advance.
