Why is it that my phonebook is the only thing bitpim will successfully sync to my computer (Phones a V3M)?

Whenever I try to "get phone data" in any other catagory it tells me "moto-v3cm on com4: the phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to modem."

I guess its working with everything but the SMS actually. Whenever I select just SMS it tells me " the phone is not responding while transitioning mode from brew to obex" ??????

Reason being is that BitPim does not have direct support for the v3m. If you go into settings and look at the list of phones it will not be there. BitPim has direct support for the v3c but not the v3m like I mentioned. You can use it to work with the filesystem, but the GUI of the software may not function correctly. You could try going in and selecting the v3cm as the phone type and see if that helps you out.

One other quick question, which carrier are you with?

already have it listed as v3cm. I have verizon
