Question re: Motorola RAZR V3- Ring Style Indicator Icon

Does anyone know of a way to erase the ring style indicator icon to the immediate left of the battery indicator light?

My first post here...checked the other forums and couldn't find this question posted anywhere.

I do believe it is codded into the actual firmware ( ie phones operating system) so it can't be done.

Also before anyone else asks you may want to say which exact Razr it is and what carrier you are with. Being this forum has CDMA and GSM Razr info that does make a big difference in being able to answer you question correctly. Specially when you are dealing with carriers like Sprint and VerizonWireless who have a custom user interface on there phones.
