sprint razr v3m - ringtones?

hey everybody. i just got a sprint razr v3m, and i'd like to put ringtones on it - for free. i've been all over the web, and everything i've found seems to be only for verizon phones. i'm worried that i'll mess something up if i use these verizon hacks. so can anybody help me? i'd almost pay for real help, i've been trying to find an answer for days. thanks in advance!

I am in the same situation, I am having so many problems.. I am going CRAZY!!

I got a usb to mini usb, my pc wont pick it up and I need drivers for it, I have used many but still. It is not appearing in my removable disc drives. I uploaded songs on the micro SD card, some 30 sec clips for ringtones, mp3's around 450k. They just appear in the music player and I can listen to them, but how do I make it a ringtone? HELP!

Not sure if there are other ways but step number one is to get the right drivers installed. Your v3m needs to get recognized as a USB Modem. One of the stickies has info and driver links, I think it is call getting your v3 connected. I used Motorola Phone Tools to setup ring tones, wallpaper, etc. There is a sticky on getting that to work as well.
