V3m seem edited to V3mM bugs

I have 2 V3m's with the USB and ID strings seem edited to allow MPT Multimedia studio and it works just fine. The problem is the contact, calender, Phone book and Sync no longer work.
I found a post complaining of the similar problem from about 2 months ago and no one ever replied. http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/ra...ultimedia.html

I just cant see how no one else has complained about this being a problem. Maybe no one needs the functions that are broken by editing the ID to V3mM but I do.

I have edited the ID back to a V3m and have made 2 profiles for each phone. one profile using auto ID as a V3m and one manually configured to a V3cm. This is a pain in the ars but it is a work around.

I'd sure like to know if any one else has the same problems or no problems as it could be S/W related. My V3m's have version NEWC_01.09.02 firmware. I'm using MPT 4.51c. XP pro sp2 with the latest updates.
