How do you make a song play for more then 1 min on a V3m?

I just did the seem editing and unlocked it so I can transfer via MPT. Now, is there a way to play a song fully? As in, more then 1 min? Did verizon put a limiter on it like they put a block on the multimedia section? And I dont mean for ringtones, I would like to use it as a cheap music player. I have everything now but the ability to play full length songs. And, is there a way to make everything play, like in a media player?
