Razr "maxx Ve"?

I've never had a razr before, and I can't figure out what "version" this phone is (seen all this v1 v2 v3 vxxx etc stuff) and I don't even know where to start to sync music to my phone. That's all I want to do, but this thing is a piece. I follow the book on how to sync music, but of course that won't work.


The book says to plug in, open windows media player (11), and click "sync phone" on my phone. It detects it, but right when the windows media player setup window comes up (to set up the new device), the phone stops trying to sync.


I tried using MPT, but even when I update the "phone list" it says phone not found....


Help anybody?

my version was on the box it came in,did you bye it at the cing store? also it might be inside the phone under the battery, i haven't had a need to look there

Hi there, the maxx VE is a CDMA phone, so it should work with the instructions in this thread.

There are a couple of other threads in the same forum, which might also be helpful. Basically look for V3m/V3c information.
