Outside display not displaying... ?

Hi all,

First off, let me say I really dislike this damn Razr. In fact, this is my second razr as the first was a POS with numerous problems.
Well, my new phone, which is all of 2 weeks old is starting with the problems.

The outside display will not show anything. I can see that its 'on' as there is, like, background light if you know what I mean. Its like a tv thats on with no signal. Ive searched and searched and connot see any way to turn it on again.

Is there a way or is the damn skinny pos broke again?

BTW, its a V3 and Im with Cingular if that matters..

1st, its Bueller If you are gonna quote one best movies, get it right haha j/k.

2nd, in case you didnt notice, people here really like their v3's. When u start ripping the phone, it doesnt make people willing to help.

You are unclear as to what your problem is. When the phone is closed, you dislike that you can't see your lcd screen? Or is it never on. Walk us through what u do with the phone and what u are hoping to get fixed.

Have had my black V3 with Cingular almost a year. No issues to report.

Ok, you're right, I'm just really frustrated with the V3 although ~when its working properly~ its a very cool phone. Now if I can get a good one, I'll be lovin' it

I was wondering how to spell Bueller ~That house is very near me in Long Beach btw. Beautiful neighborhood.

Anyway, My outside display is not showing anything regardless of being open or closed. It is getting power to the screen though. It just looks like its 'on' but receiving no signal. I've tried everything. Even when you put the phone in camera mode and close it there is nothing (it should show you the camera view).

Sorry for the bad start, but Im just bummed. I got this cool looking tiny phone and its the second one thats not reliable

I hate to say it, but I think its time to take that one back to. I have had my razr for a year now and it took 2 of them till I could find one that worked and a few s/w updates too. Just hold on and when you get one that works. You will love it. The razr is a great phone.

You know, you might be having problems with your seems. If you go here http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160 and follow the directions, it might fix it for you. It did for me.

Both of those links u posted are for GSM phones. Neither one would help her lcd image problem. Please refrain from posting off-topic links here that will only confuse someone looking for help.

I am haveing the same problem. I was just wondering if it is a seem edit or the screen. I run a vivo flashed V3m Razr The outside LCD is lite not white but like a TV with no signal in video mode this is the case open or closed. Camera doesn't show either. I can't even see anything when I'm charging the phone. I need a answer please HELP!!!
