I just got this brand new V3m about a week ago, and I love it. Today, I bought a SanDisk 256 meg micro SD card. So I put it in the phone, and went to format it. It says it formats and everything, then goes back to the storage devices screen. However, it still says "TRANS - Unformatted". I've tried doing it over and over, however it still does the same exact thing. Any ideas? And when it does start working, I should just be able to sync it, and it'll automatically save the music files to the card and not the internal memory, right? Ane help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot. |

Yea, I bought the Essentials kit and it Syncs with a little persuasion. But 3 songs isn't very much... Lol. I'm just wondering why it won't format. The first time I formatted it it was fine, but once i did it again it got messed up... |

i've been trying it in the phone, and thats when nothing happens. But when i formatted it in the computer, it worked fine, which makes me believe that card works fine. But im pretty sure that the phone puts folders onto the card when formatting it.

But if i knew what filing system (NTFS, FAT, FAT32) the phone understands and what folders to put on it, i should be able to format it on the comp, right?

Well, I just went to the Verizon store, they gave me a replacement razr, and it worked fine. So I guess it was just a bad phone. So it works now! Sweet. Thanks guys, Later |
