I wouldnt worry about undoing the seems. You did them correectly if MultiMedia is enabled in MPT. Are you sure you didnt simply rename a .wma file as .mp3? That wouldnt be the correct way to convert to .mp3. Can u send a jpeg picture file?

I started reading the post and thought it would help me, but I havn't seen anything yet. I have Cingular servive and just upgraded to the Razr v3r. I cant even get past the phone setup screen. I launch MPT program, I get to the phone setup wizard, then I plug the cord into the phone then the other end of the cord to the computer. Thats it, it doesn't do anything else. No error screen or progress of any kind. Can someone help me? Thanks

Wally, this thread is for the CDMA v3m. You should direct your post into Cingular/GSM sticky.

I don't know if this is where to post this, but I've gotten a lot of help here. I think earlier I said my phone is a V3c, but that's wrong. It's a V3m. It just doesn't say that when I plug it in. Anyway, I put a couple Mp3's on my phone (thanks Cincyball - it worked GREAT!), but now I want to listen to them. They aren't in the "My Music" file on the phone. They're with all the ringtones. But I wanted to listen to it with the phone closed so I could just clip the phone on and use it like an Mp3 player kind of thing. It seems pointless to be able to put lots of stuff on there if I have to leave the phone open all the time to play it. I have the headphone adapter thing, but that must take a special headphone because my regular ones don't fit in the jack. I just thought I could listen to them through the speakerphone for now and later get whatever special headphones or whatever I need to listen privately. I play the songs, but when I close the lid it turns off. I used MPT to get them on there. I can't figure out how to do it with Windows media player. It doesn't even recognize the phone, but that's fine. Anway, what can I do to play songs with the flip closed? If it needs to be in "My music", how do I get it there? And info. on the headphone or bluetooth thing would be good to. Sorry that I'm so stupid on this stuff.

Salmos, you need to use WMP 10 or 11 to sync music to your my_music folder. Who is your service provider? There are directions how to do it if you have Verizon. But if you have someone else, nobody has mentioned anything around here to get it done, to my knowledge. See here if you have Verizon -> http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/ra...connected.html (Getting your V3C/M Connected)
