Thanks for the link, ronnieg56. The motospeak feature sounds pretty cool to me.

Verizon does everything twice as slow as everyone else. The RAZR was approved for sale last week and is still not available. Alltel approved the RAZR for sale this week and will have it available starting Monday.

Does anyone else think that the inside screen display in this demo looks quite a bit like LG's UI?

I should've known they'd come out with this right when Radioshack is dumping VZW for Cingular. Since I work @ Radioshack i'm figuring that VZW is going to do a mass deletion of those of us on the Radioshack/VZW employee plan. We've as of yet to hear of any such plans from Cingular. I borrowed a friends Razr that he has w/Cingular & from what little I got to try it seemed to work well in this rural area that i'm in...as good if not better at times than my V710 (which is another story, thanks to the class action suit!). I wished I could've had it for another day to test a couple of more stretches of road, tho...that would help more with my decision. Since VZW offers a 18% discount to state employees (my main gig) & Cingular only 10%, I don't know what i'll do if I can't get the employee discount thru Cingular. Probably stay w/VZW since i've not had any real problems with them & i'm unsure w/Cingular. |

Alltel released their V3C today and have it listed at $199 for a 2 year contract. Hopefully VZW will meet or beat that price!!

| VZW has been pretty tight-lipped on it, but $199 on 2yr is what the rumors at the corporate store are saying

Too bad for Verizon that ALLTEL beat them to it with the RAZR. I would have expected Verizon to be the first CDMA carrier in the U.S. to offer the RAZR. Great job, ALLTEL. |
