broke down and bought the treo650 last nite and now what do you guys suggest i download as far as applications,fixes etc... im mainly using it for email,chat,web access and phone. any ideas? |

I personally think treoguard is not needed on verizon treos, but that is just me. Are we talking applications Crazy? If so, download them to the card, which they will show up in, and just click and watch it install, but again I think you need a launcher program to do this. also try a program called snap- its pretty cool what it does- I will post an example in a bit.

i wanna DL that backup buddy thing and that ear piece thing that makes it louder. other than that i doubt id DL much more. but i guess i gotta DL that launcher program then.

DL'd the backup buddy and volume care. what a difference in the volume. why wouldnt they just make it right from the start? and the backup buddy seems pretty kool. i got it set to backup every midnite. think thats ok ? i cant imagine it being one but wanna make sure. it is on the card and backsup to it. thanx again guys. |

Anyways, The Developer of VolumeCare- (Jeff Gibson), has his own developer corner on the treocentral discussion boards. If you haven't already checked it out, do yourself a favor and do so!!! He is very timely in addressing any concerns you may have w/ VolumeCare!!! As far as I'm concerned, Palm should be buying VolumeCare and making it standard-issue on Treo 650's going forward!!! yep, it should be standard on it. love that program. im liking this treo more and more everyday.... woohoo, i just found out i can have a GPS for GOLF now on this phone...woohoo. this phone DL'ing stuff is gonna cost me a fortune..lol |
