I am trying to find out who has the best international and local access. I am asuming Cingular since Tmobile's coverage seems to be pretty bad in th US.

International would depend more upon whether the phone has 900/1800 or only one of the two bands used outside the Americas. And since you live in Kentucky, yes, Cingular is what I would recommend. They are now selling the BlackBerry 7100g which is quadband, so it will work just about anywhere.

If your phone is quad-band, that's as good as it'll get, with the phone being able to use 900/1800 outside the Americas.

I see, they can look at www.prepaidgsm.net under Operators for exact prepaid SIM info. That site gives an excellent overview.
