Default Help Please Can I put my old sim card from my cingular motorola cell phone in a

My current cell phone a motorola T720 will no longer ring. My contract with cingular is up and I dont want to get another contract or a new expensive phone. I pay month to month.

Ok I have the opportunity to get a brand new Nokia 3595 cingular carrier. I want to know if I get this all I have to do is insert my sim card form my motorola phone and it will work. Or do I have to activaited it with cingular and pay a fee.

here is thr info on what the lady said about the nokia phone

hi there, this is from cingular, and like i said its new n when i called to have them set it up, they used the wrong input numbers n ruined the card so that is all u will need, other then to activate it. peg phone was never even used.

SO CAN I PUT MY SIM CAR DIN THIS PHONE AND IT WILL JUST POWER UP AND WORK. OR DOES CINGULAR HAVE TO GET INVOVLED.

THANKS

You should not have any problems using your Cingular SIM in a Cingular-branded 3595.

The swap should be no problem. Just be sure that your phonebook listing is saved to the SIM Card and not the phone memory before making the swap. They way all your numbers will swap as well.
