Rhode Island/MASS/New Hapshire Residents to Benefit From Verizon Wirelessicon Network Expansion

Investing to Stay Ahead of Growing Demand for Wireless Calling, Data Access, and Music


NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I., Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for Rhode Island residents, Verizon Wirelessicon, operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network, has expanded its network with three new cell sites. The two new sites in North Kingstown provide improved coverage and capacity along Route 1, including the intersection of Routes 403 and 102, as well as the surrounding area. The new site in Woonsocket provides improved coverage and capacity along Routes 122 and 104, as well as portions of the town of Woonsocket.

In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for local residents in Methuen, Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire, Verizon Wirelessicon, operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network, has expanded its network with a new cell site. The new site provides coverage and capacity along Route 97, surrounding secondary roadways, and into downtown Salem.

Verizon has also expanded its network with a new cell site that provides coverage and capacity along US-4 and NH-125 as well as the northwestern portion of the town of Lee, NH.


Verizon Wireless, operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network, has expanded its network with a new cell site. The new site provides coverage and capacity near the intersection of I-93 and the Furnace Brook Parkway in the city of Quincy Mass.
Another new site provides coverage and capacity to the northwest section of the Town of Dartmouth, Mass, as well as Route 195 near the intersection with Reed Road.
