Default What's on the Closter Tower?

We recently all got new phones with VZ Wireless. The old Kyocera phones started showing their age. I noticed that signal stregnth wasn't so strong anymore despite the fact that we have a big cell tower at the Boro Hall in town. (Closter)

Anyway, the new phones work great on 'EV.' While walking the neighborhood I noticed a rough spot on VZ where the phone changes to '1X.'

Does anyone in the local area know if my new E-815 phone is going through the Closter tower: or perhaps a different cell site?

I gave up trying to figure out who's on what tower a while ago. . .

    Thanks

"EV" means your fone can "see" the 1900Mhz EV-DO signal for High Speed Data & "V-Cast".
All regular voice calls go thru the "1x" system , & since (most of) the 1x only channels have a slightly farther range than the 1900 signal, since most of them are on 800Mhz, that "spot" in your neighborhood must be an area where you lost the 1900 EV-DO signal, but the fone can still see a regular 1x signal (probably not at full strength though). Also, if that area happens to be the "border" of EV-do service, you walked into the next cell site's range, which may not yet have EV-do installed.
If you have access to the fone's test screens, you can become familiar with the sector p/n numbers & start to recognize which cell sites your fone is using/seeing.
