I need a little assistance. I have a v60i with Verizonicon. I was talking on the phone driving from Upper Westchester to NYC and I experienced a period of road on I-95 where I couldn't hear the person I was talking to. But, they could hear me the whole time they say. Has anyone else hear of, or experienced, this? Is there any remedy for this?

It's probably just one of those areas that cause problems. Based on my experience working with cellular phones, there is no real remedy that I have ever heard of. Another thing might be the phone itself. Maybe the phone software flipped out for a couple of minutes while you were using it. My phone does that kind of stuff here and there.

Well I'll see if it happens again. I go that route quite often. I guess if it keeps happening, I will have to switch back to T-Mobileicon.

There are multiple areas on the Westchester roads that are cellular no man's land. It has been my experience (living in Southest Westchester, and driving all over) that while NO service is uniformly great, VZ seems to be significantly better than the others.
I had Voicestream (the old Tmobileicon) and it was not even close to VZ.

By the way, if you had trouble on I95, wait till you experience the Hutch exits 17-21. Good Luck.

My suggestion is if you're experiencing problems, dial *611. People don't realize if you don't tell the company about your dissatisfaction chances are nothing will get done.

Don't go in to a local store either.. they don't have the ability to open trouble tickets without calling customer care themselves.
