Default Verizon's price drop on phone (CDM9500) on web - ?? in-store price ??

VZW just drop the new Audiovox CDM9500 price to $180 on 1 Year Contract before MIR of $100 (net cost of $80) on its web, comparable to the Mot V120e price of $80 (no rebate, 2 for 1 sale on Family Share). Mot T720 is $210 before MIR of $100 (net $110) w. a free Jabra set deal and Samsung A310 is $130 before MIR of $50 (net $80). Rebates good thru 1/31/03 (Samsung already ended ???) but unclear if VZW will provide MIR Coupon unless you are on 2 Year Contract (prices dropping another $30 too).

Can't help wonder if the newer Audiovox & Samsung and even the V60e/x are coming soon, that Verizon is trying to clear their inventory. Just can't figure out why the V60i is still priced at $230 w. a lot less "fancy" features but being a good, solid & dependable "talking" phone.

Anyone know of the VZW store prices on these phones & any rumors of incoming phone, price plan & promotions!

Default Verizon's price drop on phone (CDM9500) on web - ?? in-store price ??

Thank you for posting the 9500 info. I just called the store where I bought the phone for 199.99 less than 2 weeks ago, and they'll credit my account 50.00 once I show them the receipt. I think I'll get the extended battery and take car of the only problem I have with the phone.

it is sure interesting to see how much prices vary depending on where you live. in my wisconsin zip code the v60i is $99, the 120e is $29, audiovox 9500 is $199, samsung A310 $199 and the T720 is $179. i wonder why there are these huge price differences?

9500 should be dropping in most all markets tomorrow 1/10/02 to $49 after a mail-in rebate... they are doing away with the trade in rebate on this phone.

That means if I go for an Audiovox CDM9500, I will pay just $80 for 1 year contract extension for my AC Family Share Plan (10 months, really) after rebate, get a 2nd phone (either Audiovox CDM 9150-GPX or Moto V120e) at no extra charge. Get my car cord, headset & leather case for free from my VZW dealer as a package, as always. Wow! This setup is practically then free to me once I get my dealer's instant discount or cashback, with a check in the mail to cover extra batteries.
