Verizon vs. Sprint PCS OK - I realize there are probably a lot of threads with this same title, but I still have not gotten honest answers from people regarding their wireless service. I live in Stamford, CT and am currrntly a Verizon
customer. I am not completely happy with their service and am considering switiching to Sprint
PCS. Currently, I use the phone strictly for the free Eve & Weekends and occasionally use it for travel. My destinations usually include, Sarasota, FL, Mt. Snow, VT, NYC and Phoenix, AZ. Can anyone tell me which service is better, clearer, has fewer dropped calls, etc. I would like to change and need some opinions before I do.
Thanks for all you knowledge!!!!!
Peace!

Verizon vs. Sprint PCS How is service around and at Mt. Snow?
From what I've gathered reading other threads, AT&T
seems to be the best for FL. The other places I'm not sure. If you're off the main drag you're probably going to roam with Sprint so you'd want to keep that in mind. Verizon
will do better in most places for rural coverage.

Verizon vs. Sprint PCS One more vote for Verizon
. If you only travel to big metro areas and not so much off the beaten path Sprint will be fine. However, if you want your phone to work pretty much everywhere without roaming charges then Verizon
is the clear choice. Having used both I can honestly say that Verizon
has been much more reliable and in the end less expensive because of fewer roaming charges.

Verizon vs. Sprint PCS yep, I'm not sure about mt. snow, but if there is coverage there at all it would be with VZW
. I would highly doubt that Sprint is there at all. AFAIK sprint is only in Rutland and Burlington.
