According to a poster in Howardforums, Rochester T-Mobile launch is 8/27. Locations are:

Eastview Mall, Marketplace Mall, and Greece Ridge Mall

I don't have the date of the Buffalo launch, but it is expected to be shortly and the locations will be:

Galleria Mall (Cheektowaga)
Boulevard Mall (NF Boulevard Amherst)
Kenmore & Delaware Aves (Buffalo)

Does that mean that a Cingular GSM phone will now work in Rochester after the 27th?

Thank you so much for replying so quickly. I can't wait to get rid of Sprint and really have wanted to go with Cingular over Verizon, the Rochester issue was the main impediment. Do you have first hand knowledge as to the reception of a Cingular GSM phone in Rochester? Thanks again -

Cingular Nation plans are now the worse and in Rochester,NY they are TDMA.
