if u get a 2 way text messaging option for example with voicestream woud u be alble 2 send a text message 2 a verizon user?

Yes you can, they would take longer to get there then if you sent it to a nother Voicestream user, but yes it works.

It depends on how busy the system is. I tried that with my brother-in-law (VZW) and in a daytime it took longer than at night.
