I live in the Washington, D.C. area, but get many calls on my Cingular cell phone each day from my customers nation wide. I am thinking of switching to Nextel to take advantage of the Free Incoming Calls plan. Does any one have experience with this Nextel plan? Or does any one know of comparable plans by other wireless providers? I will very much appreciate your help.

Nextel is currently the only major carrier that I have seen that is offering free incoming calls. This is a great deal to for those users that receive a lot of incoming calls and don't make as many outgoing ones.

How many minutes do you use a month?

As Dan stated Nextel is the ONLY major provider offering unlimited incoming calls. But they also offer far less anytime minutes and No night and weekend minutes (This is a $10 per month add on)

For the most mimutes Voicestream is offering 3000 anytime minutes

VoiceStream is a good option also however that 3,000 anytime minutes plan does NOT give you long distance. So if you need nationwide long distance, Nextel would be a better deal for you.

If I may ask how many anytime minutes and night and weekend minutes do you need?

Thanks for your response to my enquiry. On the average, I expect to use about 700 anytime minutes. In addtion, I will probably use a total of about 2,500 minutes at night and weekends.
