Default When is the best time to buy?

Hello all. I have been using these message boards the past few weeks to try and determine which cell phone provider I should go with. Recently I have been reading about something going on with AT&Ticon, and Cingular, which will improve the signal on their GSM phones. Anyhow, I have read that this will begin on the 18th of April, when I assume AT&Ticon and Cingular will be doing some kind of heavy promotion for this.

That brings about my question--when is the best time to buy a phone? Do you think that Verizonicon and Tmobile will bring out some new promotions to compete with this change in Cingular and AT&Ticon?

If so, then I will wait to by my phone and see what kind of deals are offered in the coming weeks!!!

Also, does this change in Cingular/AT&T effect their text messaging capabiities? From my research, I have found that Tmobile is the only provider with which I can consistently text my friends in the UK, regardless of what network they are on.

    Any input is appreciated!
    Thank you!

If Intrenational text messaging and Minutes are what are the most important for you then Tmobileicon is your best option.

    IF!!!

They provide good coverage in the areas were you spend 99.9% of your time (Home, neighborhood, work, school, church, mall, etc. + ALL the roads in between.) + the places you travel to routinely.

So the question becomes, were do you live and who has good coverage there?

Well put, it all depends what is important to you, in most of NY I would suggest Verizonicon for coverage, now for a boat load of minutes & text then T-Mob is for you, you might not have an good of coverage as with Verizonicon, but depending on where you live it should be good enough.

Just look out for sales at local VZW stores, authorized dealers and places like Best Buy, etc.
